If you already own a LinkTap G1 or G2 system and are thinking to expand it, you can just get the add-on G2S water timer. Save your investment! For first time buyers, a LinkTap Gateway is required. One LinkTap Gateway can control up to 15 LinkTap Water Timers simultaneously. If you’ve ever had a break in your system, you know how deep and devastating the damage can spread by the time you find it. That’s why our water timer now has a robust fault detection system! The G2S’ sensors continuously monitor the water flow to detect irregularities, before sending a notification to your registered email address (and up to two others) if any of these potential faults are found: Irrigation pipe leaks or clogs Valve failure Water cut-off Device fell or was otherwise disconnected Now you can enjoy complete peace of mind. This feature is essential if you plan on travelling, or setting up an automatic watering system in your holiday house. Should you be unable to respond to the fault immediately, your other assigned contacts will be alerted and can help handle it for you. If a power and/or network outage occurs, any watering in progress will end as usual, and any subsequent watering will still take place as scheduled. Additionally, the manual on/off button comes with a digital lockout feature. This ensures that your G2S will never be inadvertently turned on or off. Whenever a watering cycle starts, ends, or is skipped due to weather conditions, a push notification will be sent directly to your phone. You will also be alerted if the battery is low or the device goes offline. LinkTap G2S offers a customisable Rain Skip feature, which checks local weather forecasts and adjusts the watering schedule automatically. If too much rain has fallen recently in your area, or if heavy rainfall is expected in the next few hours/days, the next session will be skipped.
