For most of our customers, sprinkler setup is fairly normal. But some find themselves in unique situations where traditional irrigation timers don’t work without a lot of extra expense and hassle. Thus the Orbit battery-operated timer was born. This unique timer tackles the problems of distance or wiring restrictions while remaining a fully functional, two-program, four-station timer. This timer carries some unique attributes that set it apart. You can detach the timer from the valve, so you can program it from anywhere, then just simply reattach it to the valve, and you're all set. The Orbit Battery Operated Sprinkler Timer brings all the programming features of Orbit’s traditional timer lineup. Nothing is left out. The timer contains two programs (A and B) for one to four stations. Each station includes up to four start times a day, for a total of eight start times, and can be run for anywhere between 1-240 minutes. Programming frequencies can be days per week (Mon-Sun), Odd/Even, or interval (between 1-30 days). There’s also a rain delay and water budget feature, letting you easily adjust your watering needs as the weather and seasons change. Your timer is also compatible with rain sensors, for optimal and efficient watering only when it's actually needed. The LCD screen is easy to read, which continues Orbit’s tradition of providing timers with simple programming and use. The Battery Operated Sprinkler Timer with Valve is great for repairing or retrofitting an existing sprinkler system, or installing new systems in areas where no power exists, such as fields or pastures. One set of standard batteries provides up to a year of automatic operation, and has a low battery sensor to warn when fresh batteries are required. The timer offers two programs (A and B) for multiple setting options. Installation is simple, and programming is straightforward and easy to understand. Compatible with a rain sensor to create a rain delay in programming.
