Our wood is Indonesian hardwood; a tight grained hardwood free of knots. Hardwood is superior to a soft wood glider. Take note of the kind of wood when selecting your outdoor glider. The wood slats are dipped into a preservative that helps coat and restore the wood color over time. Weather exposure (direct sun, snow or rain) over time will cause the wood to gray. You can bring your wood back to life by staining the slats. We include a wood care guide to help you along the way! Our glider has a side table to attach to the side of the glider. This is a small table to rest beverages or a book while you relax. What sets our glider apart from others is the steel frame base. The steel frame base provides superior support and longevity.
