The Yard Star spreader will require some assembly. Once fully assembled, start by making sure the spreader is properly calibrated using the instructions provided. For spreader settings, refer to individual product labels as rates will differ. To apply using Yard Star, walk back and forth across the lawn at a normal rate. Notice the effective width of the application and allow 6 inches of overlap on each return. Always clean out the spreader after use. Check calibration regularly and adjust as necessary to ensure consistent performance.
