It requires no contact with the skin, so you can take accurate readings without disturbing someone who may be resting The thermometer is equipped with a highly precise IR sensor. Therefore, it can take a temperature in 1-2 seconds. Memory mode can be accessed either in forehead mode or object mode and automatically memorises the last 10 temperature readings. Each memory also records the measurement date, time and mode icons. Step 1:Please make sure that the person or the object you are going to measure has stayed in the same environment for at least 10 minutes. Step 2:For the initial use, please set the time by pressing 'Start'. Then, press the power button to confirm. (Please refer to the user manual for more details) Step 3:Start the measurement in the forehead mode(you will hear a BIBI sound). Step 4:Aim at the centre of forehead directly with the measuring distance of 2-3 cm. Make sure that the forehead is not blocked by hair. Then, press the Start button. Step 5:The temperature will be displayed when you hear a BI sound. The screen will show a smiling face which implies normal body temperature. If crying face means fever(≥100℉,37.8℃) Infrared forehead thermometers have relatively high requirements for the measurement environment. The distance between the forehead and the thermometer is 2-3 cm. It should not be more than 3 cm.
