LIFALOFT is a combination of LIFA and PrimaLoft extensive knowledge in synthetic insulation. LIFALOFT insulation is based on a yarn technology that traps more air vs polyester at a lighter weight. The fiber does not absorb water and has inherit water repellency without the need for treatment due to the hydrophobic properties of the LIFA fibers which makes this insulation technology ideal for year around adventures in any condition and keeps you warm even when wet. LIFALOFT has less carbon and water footprint vs comparable polyester for a lower environment impact. LIFALOFT insulation retains more heat while remaining lightweight and comfortable during even the most intensive activities. LIFALOFT insulation is utilized in insulators and ski jackets for added warmth. Thanks to a lighter fiber structure, LifaLoft insulation is 20% lighter than standard insulation - allowing for maximum comfort and agility. The unique LifaLoft insulation creates more air pockets giving more warmth at lower weight, compared to standard insulation. Lifa fibers are naturally hydrophobic, so when you sweat, the moisture will pass straight through to the outer most layer to evaporate, keeping you dry and comfortable on the inside.
