I have been using it on a 5/8" (16mm) Iron Street flipline and this size rope maxed out the rope grab but holds perfectly. When it's time to adjust some rope it's very smooth in either direction. I bought this as the bolt; which is safety tethered, Is removable. Many of my ropes have manufactured loops on both end so having the ability to remove the bolt, insert the rope and reassemble is perfect. I am using 5/8 inch ropes as this hold very good even in wet weather when my rope was wet. Highly recommend
