Each enzyme has unique properties; when combined, they pack a powerful antimicrobial punch. They work together to inhibit, split and destroy offending bacteria, fungi and even some viruses, making the combination antibacterial as well as antifungal. Persistent, resistant microorganisms, such as pseudomonas and staph, often form hard-to-penetrate biofilms that make these microorganisms difficult to clear. The biofilm-reducing complex in Advanced Formula Otic PLUS targets these biofilms to help relieve irritating, painful symptoms. ZYMOX Otic Advanced Enzymatic ear cleaner is available without Hydrocortisone (identified by a yellow product label) for antibiotic-sensitive animals, rodents, sensitive exotics, pets sensitive to Hydrocortisone and pets that are pregnant or lactating. ZYMOX Advanced Formula Otic Plus is also available with 1% Hydrocortisone for additional relief from itching and inflammation (identified by a red product label). ZYMOX Otic Plus ear cleaner is an all-in-one solution for infections caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast. Antibiotic-free, there’s no chance of microbes becoming resistant to our formula. The LP3 Enzyme System reacts with biological materials within the ears to form its antimicrobial properties, working effectively without harming healthy cells. Apply once a day to clean and soothe in one easy step with a simple daily dose. There’s no need to cause fear or upset in your pet, as painful pre-cleaning is unnecessary. In fact, pre-cleaning and cleaning while using Otic Plus disrupts the biological system and can negatively affect results. Our unique formula won't cause irritation to your pet's ears or skin and is safe if your pet licks at the application site. Do not pre-clean ear prior to or during use. Doing so will disrupt the enzyme system. Do not use in pets with known or suspected ear drum rupture or with known or suspected sensitivity to corticosteroids such as pregnant or lactating females or exotics. Shake bottle well before use. Apply to uncleaned ear, filling ear canal. Gently massage and work into area. Wipe to remove excess. Allow pet to shake head. Apply once daily for 7 days. If needed after course, use ZYMOX Otic to flush the ears.
