Description

This flap disc features heavy-duty polyester sanding flaps covered in premium zirconia grains that result in superior grain retention. The disc measures 4.5-inch in diameter with a 7/8-inch arbor size, making it compatible with grinders operatable of up to 13,300 RPM. Cut off wheels for various metal, such as stainless steel, aluminum, ferrous metals, alloys, and other uneven surfaces. These Zirconia Jumbo Flap discs are built to take a beating and keep on grinding, deburring, removing rust, sanding down weld splatter, surface finishing, cleaning or simply removing stock this flap disc is in it for the longest period. The coarse grains with fiberglass backing makes the discs work for the longest time and saves you from the hassle of frequently changing the discs. Constructed from the best quality, industrial-grade high-density premium zirconia which provides more grinding material than the regular flap discs. The resin fiber construction with fiberglass backing plate absorbs vibrations. Used for heavy stock removal and often for weld removal, they outperform Resin Fiber Discs due to their increased lifetime and last twice as long as Aluminum Oxide discs.
