Muira Puama (Ptychopetalum olacoides) is a perennial plant growing in the forests of the Amazon and southern Brazil. It is a bush or a small tree 5 meters tall. The inflorescences consist of short axillary racemes of 4 to 6 flowers. Its leaves are short-petioled, up to 7.5 cm in length and 5 cm in breadth light green on upper surface, dark brown on lower surface. Keep out of reach of children.
