Corrosion can wreck havoc on spinner plate performance. Over time it can eat into metal that hasn’t been properly treated, replacing what was once a smooth surface with a pitted, rough texture. The result is caking or a build-up of feed on the spinner plate that reduces casting ability. Left unchecked, caking can even stop feeder function entirely. The Deer Feeder Pro uses a durable plastic spinner plate that ensures corrosion never has a chance to affect performance. Control how much feed you want to cast and when you want to cast it. Programmable digital timer allows up to six daily feed times. The duration of each feed time can also be set from 1 to 20 seconds. Anything that can reduce battery replacement trips is a significant benefit for a feeder. The Quick-Lock Directional Feeder includes an external power port that accepts the 6-Volt Deluxe Solar Panel or Feeder Power Panel. You can use either to recharge the 6-volt battery that’s required to power the feeder. The Feeder Power Panel can also be used as the only power source. It’s always a good idea to carry tools.
