Connect power for all units and allow 1-min for the parent and baby unit to link to each other. Crystal clear sound with DECT 6.0 digital technology. The best reception can be obtained by placing units away from cordless phones or other electronic devices, and make sure the parent unit is 3 feet (1 meter) away from the baby unit. The two parent units are operated with the rechargeable battery or by AC power. A fully charged battery can operate up to 8 hours. As it takes up to 10 hours for the battery to be fully charged, turn the parent unit off while charging can help shorten the charging time. Even so, the baby unit and the parent unit can communicate over only a certain distance - which can vary with the locations of the baby unit, the parent unit, the weather, and the layout of your home. When the parent unit is out of range, it will beep three times every 30 seconds and enter searching mode.To improve reception, move closer to the baby unit (but not less than 1 meter / 3 feet).
