The JVC CS-J620 uses a 1" Poly-Ether Imide balanced dome tweeter to handle the highs that typical speakers cannot reach, instantly making it a superb upgrade. The Poly-Ether Imide material allows for the driver to reach its 22,000 Hz frequency peak. To handle the mid-range and low end that can reach down to 35 Hz, the CS-J620 utilizes a Hybrid, Rubber and Cloth surround with a Mica Cone; The combination of these materials, along with the tweeter, presents a proper full-range sound that is an instant upgrade from OEM drivers. The JVC CS-J620 is engineered with a shallow 1-26/32 inch frame, intended to make installation as painless as possible. The shallow frame removes the worry of hitting a window track, glass or other obstructions within the door panel. In addition, the JVC CS-J620 has a pre-arranged hole pattern to further ease the worry of having to modify the speaker to fit a particular vehicle mount pattern.
