During the distillation, water can be added whenever it is needed through the separatory funnel without interupt the distillation process. Adding a distilllation column to the simple distillation apparatus, the set can be used as a fractional distillation apparatus. The distillation coulunn with vigreux at bottom can be used as a fractional column,which requires packing material inside.
