A spare tire carrier is the best way to insure that you're never the guy stuck by the side of the road on fishing opener. This model features durable steel construction with zinc plating for corrosion resistance, and a bolt-on design for easy installation (no cutting, no drilling) on trailer tongues up to 3" wide x 4" high. Fits 4 hole rims with 4" bolt circle patterns and 5 hole rims with 4. 5" bolt circles. Note: Does not fit 15" tires, or 6-lug rims. Not intended for applications where the trailer will be in contact with saltwater or brackish water. Two-year replacement . Easy installation is the name of the game. Fitting standard trailer frames and/or trailer tongues up to 3" wide and 4" tall, the Spare Tire Carrier mounts easily with just a couple wrenches and requires absolutely no drilling or cutting, making it easy to reposition or remove when necessary. While mounted, the spare tire sits vertically just outside the trailer frame, providing easy access in the event that it is needed while remaining out of the way of your boat or other cargo. The close-to-trailer design helps cuts down on wind resistance during travel. The Economy Spare Tire Carrier is designed to fit both 4 and 5-lug spare tires with its innovative mounting plate, each mounting with two lugs for a secure hold. Note: The carrier is not designed for use with 15" wheels or 6-hole lug patterns. Extreme Max Standard 3001.0064 High-Mount Spare Tire Carrier The High-Mount Spare Tire Carrier's offset design holds tires at an angle to fit all boat trailers. It holds tires up to 16" with 4, 5 and 6-hole bolt patterns with a lug distance between 4.5" and 5" on center. The included hardware kit fits both 3" and 4" trailer frames (5" trailer frames require Extreme Max hardware kit 3001.0077).
