Car Cache Installs in 3 Easy Steps - No Tools Required! REQUIRES: Center console lid to Open from the Front* (not sliding) & headrests with Accessible Posts. (*For side or middle opening console lids use 3M Command Hooks – used to hold heavy picture frames - and stick them upside down on the inside, back of the console then tie the strings around them.) 1) Wrap strings around console lid and TIE a Double KNOT. ( Does your console open from the side or down the middle? Then you can stick 3M Command Hooks (used to hang heavy pictures) upside down, on the inside, back of the console and tie the strings around them.) 2) Take straps across FRONT of FRONT SEATS and attach to headrest posts CLOSEST to the DOORS. Push the headrests back down so to hide the straps. The straps should be positioned so the hammock can be formed BEHIND THE CONSOLE. 3) LENGTHEN THE STRAPS to form a large hammock behind the console for easy tossing of handbag into Car Cache, IN FRONT OF THE POCKET. The pocket is for small items: umbrella, gloves, chargers, mail, toys, small purses, etc. It holds all sizes of purses and the only limitation is the width between the seats (along with the size of the purse). Ideally, should be 8" or greater. If narrow space, by making the hammock very deep you should be able to still toss your handbag into it by tossing it in vertically, most of the weight of the purse would reside in the Car Cache and part of the purse may have to reside partially on the console.
