At Farberware, we proudly trace our roots back to that basement shop on Manhattan's Lower East Side where tinsmith S.W. Farber made his first tin, brass and copper bowls and vases. His earliest houseware products were cherished for their utility, beauty, and durability, and as times evolved, so did Farber. Modern appliances entered the picture in 1930 with the first Farberware coffee percolator, thus beginning a tradition of innovation, quality and value that continues to this day. In 1937, Farber introduced his "Coffee Robot" a device that kept coffee warm for hours after brewing. This was followed a year later by his "Broiler Robot." In 1954, Farber introduced a stainless steel electric fry pan with an aluminum-clad bottom and removable probe that gave home cooks the ability to immerse the appliance in water for easy cleaning. The "Open Hearth" smokeless broiler with an innovative heating element below rather than above the food, was born in 1962. The Farberware Classic Wood Rolling Pin makes rolling out pie crusts, pastry shells and pizza dough quick and easy. This rolling pin is made from durable, moisture resistant hardwood. The rolling pin features comfortable, easy grip handles for added comfort and control. The pin boasts rust proof Nylon bearings for a smooth rolling action. This rolling pin is an essential tool for any kitchen. This product should be hand washed with a damp cloth for best results.
