Vibra-Tite Threadlockers work through anaerobic chemistry. Anaerobic materials cure in the absence of air, and/or in the presence of active metals such as steel, brass, copper and more. To prevent product from curing in the bottle it is essential to leave extra space for air in the container. The more air the longer the shelf-life should be. All our containers are filled to the displayed net weight or net fill. See to the right an example of a 10 mL fill line in comparison to the bottle size. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
