I've used rubber hoses and PVC coils up until now. Pictured is one of my rubber hoses showing how the rubber has begun to crack. I have heard that hybrid hoses last much longer before they become unserviceable like rubber. I can't speak to durability yet. This hose is very light compared to it's rubber counterpart. Much more flexible as well, especially in the cold! The package included a male and female quick connect and a roll of teflon tape.I needed a hose just to run outside from my compressor for occasional use. I decided on a 50 foot hose and debated about going with 1/4" or 3/8" diameter ID. My main hoses in my shop are 3/8 and even though they supply my tools well they can be a little bulky sometimes too. Since my priority was on convenience rather than maximum power I went with the 1/4" FYPower hose. I have several hybrid hoses and I am convinced they are the way to go. They're lighter and stay supple even in the winter. They are easy to roll and I haven't had one crack in over 6 years of use. This hybrid hose retains all of the properties of the others I own, is lightweight, and pretty inexpensive. This hose comes with a quick disconnect, a male end for the inlet, and a roll of Teflon tape. Of course you can use your own ends if you want to since the ends are not attached. Pretty happy with this hose.I love this compressor accessories kit for my personal needs . I have lots accessories for different needs. All accessories are pretty light especially for the recoil air hose. It's not an expensive kit to have and everything in the kit worth it. I have more than 20 pieces to that come with it. Great kit to have.My old aircompressor has a hard rubber 50 foot hose that does not unroll or roll up nicely. I only use this aircompressor to fill up the tires on my cars. I don't need a 50 foot air hose to refill the air in my car tires, so I chose this new 10 foot air hose. This air hose came with a male connector on one end and a female connector on the other end. I replaced the male connector with another female connector to attatch the new hose to my air compressor (It needs female connectors on both ends). I then used the aircompressor (and the new air hose) to top off the air in the snow tires when I put them back on one of my cars for the winter. I also used an air blowing attachment to blow the leaves out of my garage that got blown in there while I was changing the tires on the car. The new air hose worked great and rolled up nicely, remaining flexible in the cold temperatures.This hose is made of a really nice material that bends and loops easily without kinking or folding over, I could wad it up (see photo) and it stayed open and flexible. I am going to use this on a portable air tank used for filling tires in cold weather. The flexible nature of this hose will make it easy to use during freezing temperatures, many air hoses are really rigid and hard to use in cold temperatures. This came with the standard compressor fittings (male & female) and Teflon tape to secure the fittings on the hose.
