As a rule of thumb, if your dog is in between sizes, please go up a size. The Lita Vest Harness is a step-in harness, with a backside hook and loop closure and quick release buckle. Though the chest size is not adjustable like the "over the head" type A harnesses, some people have found this harness to be more comfortable and easier to put on the dog.
