When the measuring current passes through the human body, the muscles are conductive, not like fat. An impedance value will be generated. According to the impedance value, the water content can be calculated, and then other body composition data can also be calculated. Unlike the traditional single-frequency detection, the Sportneer body composition scales adopt a dual-frequency detection method to ensure the most accurate measurement. (Low frequency: measure extracellular fluid data; High frequency: measure intracellular fluid data) It has 4 electrodes on the platform as well as 4 on the display handle for a total of eight electrodes. The eight electrodes allow the scale to provide a segmental review of the body, this allows an analysis of muscle mass and body fat percentage in each arm, each leg, and the trunk area.
