Our pumps are equipped with a thermal relief valve. This is a safety feature that keeps the pump from overheating while in bypass mode. The thermal relief valve opens if the water temperature inside the pump gets too high. This will cause the valve to open, allowing the hot water to exit and cooler water to enter the pump. To avoid overheating your pressure washer pump, turn the motor or engine off if you will not be using pressure washer for more than two minutes. The water inlet fitting has a 3/8-inch male end, which connects to the pressure washer pump. The inlet fitting features a 3/4-inch female end, which connects to the low-pressure garden hose. The water outlet fitting is on your pressure washer pump, allowing a female M22 threaded high-pressure hose to connect to a pressure washer pump.
