Comes in 2 parts. I just had to put the cushion inside the cover. Was very quick and easy to do. I left it sit a bit to fluff itself and it did....... Soft material and very good cushion. The cushion does not smash to the floor when they are on it. Makes for a very good bed with support. Great quality but smaller than I expected. If you have dogs over 100 lbs get the next size. Would buy again but in bigger size. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because the picture advertised was a GSD laying on bed I felt they should have used another dog perhaps to show a truer sizing. Both my dog and cat love this bed. They passive agressively fight over who gets to lay in it haha. It came vacuum packed so it took a day or two to fluff up. They have been using it for a couple months and no tears or rips, and my dog likes to dig into it. Haven't washed the cover yet but that's an added bonus. 7" raised pillow, the raised sides design work well on your dog's head, effectively alleviate pet's cervical spine problems.
