Powder coated with blue and black paint for surface protection. Toothed jaw will clamp onto metal surface with maximum safety. Safety spring system ensures sturdy grip between the jaw and material. Lock lever is designed to open and lock jaw, as well as to adjust opening width for metal plates of various thickness. Shackle is designed to operate within 180 degree swiveling range from side to side, along with 90 degree range back to front. Widely used for steel structure installation, steel market, machine processing, steel plate welding, cutting and handling. With maximum working load of 1T / 2200 LBs, TOUGHER clamp is capable of heavy duty material handling. For safety reasons, all of TOUGHER's products were tested on and passed 4 times max load, which is 8800LBs for this spec.
