See more product details J-B Weld ClearTop is a 1:1 mix ratio, crystal clear pour-on epoxy that provides a protective surface for all your projects. J-B Weld ClearTop is a self-leveling, high viscosity and solvent-free formula allowing for a safe, smooth and even finish on your project. J-B Weld ClearTop resist scratching, contact heat (up to 150°F) and impact! ClearTop can be mixed with dyes to add coloring to the Epoxy and be sanded after fully cured. Measure equal parts of Resin and Hardener into separate measuring cups with a 1:1 ratio by volume - DO NOT VARY FROM THIS RATIO. If working on a porous surface like wood, prepare Seal Coat first. Pour Hardener into mixing cup first, then add Resin, scraping sides and bottoms to ensure equal proportions. Mix thoroughly with stir stick for 3-5 minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of container for proper mixing. Pour mixed product into second mixing cup, scraping all product from sides and bottom. Thoroughly mix for an additional 1-2 minutes. Lit mixture sit for another 3 minutes. Pour mixture across entire surface in zigzag motion. Mixture will flow and self-level; use rubber squeegee or brush to guide material. Note: Mixture self-levels up to 1/8 inch thickness. If thicker application is desired, multiple flood coat layers are needed. Wait 5-6 hours between layers. To remove air bubbles, hold heat gun or hair dryer about 6 inches away from surface and sweep across entire surface to pop bubbles. Repeat as needed until bubbles are gone.
