With proper application, the shower protection film transforms into a waterproof shield that prevents water from seeping into dressings, bandages and casts. JJ Care’s Shower Protector Film provides waterproof protection for bandages, dressings, casts, compression and more. The cover is used when removal of bandages or dressing is not an option when bathing. Use of this covering facilitates faster healing by helping maintain a conducive healing environment. Each Shower Protector Film is easy to apply with or without any assistance. Simply follow the instructions and technique in creating a watertight seal. Resealing is not recommended as it weakens the adhesive. The protection films are single-use only and should be disposed after use. Each latex-free Shower Protector Film is made of skin-friendly and medical grade polyurethane film that uses an acrylic-based adhesive for a waterproof seal. These materials, while effective, are gentle on the skin and do not cause irritation nor leave marks. Adhesive residue can be easily removed.
