For drywall: Use a 1/4” drill bit and install the wall anchors. For studs: Use a 1/8” drill bit. Drive in the screws and leave them 1/4” out. Install the bracket and finish tightening the screws. Slide your curtains into the rod, place the rods onto your brackets and secure them by hand with the bracket screws.
