Hold the flex bar vertically in front of you, and extend your wrist. Then, grasp the upper end of the bar with your other hand while your palm is facing away from you. Twist the bar with the top hand and at the same time, stabilize your bottom hand. Hold both wrists steadily, and turn the flex bar horizontally. You must then extend the injured side of your wrist and flex the other wrist. Release the bar from your inured side, and maintain tension with the uninjured side. Grasp the flex bar with one hand, with the hand to be exercised with. Place the same bent elbow on a table, with the other end of the flex bar resting on the table, approximately one foot away from your elbow. Place the non-exercising hand on your bent elbow for stabilization. Keeping your forearm stationary, slowly push against the flex bar to bend your hands down towards the table. Move your hands towards the 'pinkie side to exercise the muscle responsible for the ulnar deviation. Grasp the flex bar with both hands. Have your palms down and elbows out like you are about to wring out a towel. Squeeze the flex bar with both hands to ensure a tight grip.
