The string on TenPoint’s extremely narrow crossbows wraps tightly around the center of the Alpha-Nock resulting in straight nock travel and precision down-range accuracy, while minimizing string serving wear. From the shaft and insert materials to the fletching and nocks, TenPoint constructs its carbon crossbow arrows using the finest materials and components available on the market today. TenPoint’s Alpha-Nock features a deep bowstring groove, a large smooth radius base, and elongated ears. It's deep groove and large radius base “holds” the bowstring in place on extremely narrow crossbows to prevent “shoot-over” or “shoot-under”. Revolutionary Alpha-Brite generates same point-of-impact as practice arrows - No sighting-in required for our lighted nocks. The three-piece, Alpha-Brite Lighted Nock System begins with a Nock Receiver insert with an interior cavity designed to accept a combined LED unit and translucent pegged Alpha-Brite Nock. The Nock Receiver is glued into the nock-end of the arrow and indexed with the vanes. When you fire your crossbow, the bowstring’s force compresses the nock into the receiver, which eliminates the gap and activates the super-bright LED. To deactivate the Alpha-Brite lighted nock, you simply remove the nock and LED unit from the arrow and pull the lighted end of the LED unit until the light turns off.
