Description

By cutting off power in under 1/40th of a second when a ground fault is detected, Faith Electric GFCIs are engineered to help protect people from the risk of electric shock. To ensure the highest quality, each unit is tested twice and is constructed with only high-grade materials. In addition, this unit is tamper-resistant for an extra layer of safety. While all GFCIs should be tested monthly, users often forget to conduct this test on a regular basis. To ensure continuous safety, this GFI conducts automatic self-tests at regular intervals. The green LED indicator light shows that the device is working properly. The National Electrical Code (NEC) requires the installation of GFCIs in all wet or damp locations. With a new slimmer design and capability for back and side wire, Faith Electric receptacles are easy to install. An installation manual and wall plate are included in each package. The Faith Electric GLS-20ATR-LA self-testing ground fault circuit interrupter outlet provides continuous protection from ground faults, disconnecting power in 1/40 of a second if a dangerous condition is detected. Once connected to power, this GFCI receptacle automatically self-tests every 2-1/2 hours. The green indicator LED light turns off if the outlet is not receiving power, is broken or if it is at end-of-life. Slimmer, modern design for easier and quicker installation in electrical boxes.
