Research has proven that resistance band provides as much benefit in fitness and strength gains as weights training equipment. Unlike free weights such as dumbbells, the resistance doesn't rely on gravity, instead, it dependent upon how far the band is stretched. The band is compact and light, so you can take it and exercise just about anywhere, especially if you travel often or at home for most of time, and also it is inexpensive.
