Pick any of the door windows from either the driver's side or the passenger side of the vehicle. The front and rear windshields are heavily laminated due to safety standards and will not generally shatter as easily. Use the pointed spike of the hammer to strike the four corners of the window, swinging the hammer as you would a regular hammer. A couple hard strikes are sufficient to shatter the glass. This will ensure the window comes out easily and cleanly without leaving too much debris behind. Now use the flat end of the hammer or your foot to kick out the middle of the window. Using your hand could cause unnecessary injury. Use hammer to scrape away any remaining glass from the edges of the window.
