An osmotic laxative, it works by holding water in the stool to soften the stool and increases the frequency of bowel movements. Generally produces a bowel movement in 1 to 3 days. Unflavored grit free powder dissolves in any beverage. A gluten-free and sugar free laxative available without a prescription. For adults and children 17 years of age and older.
