This type D camlock (Cam and Groove) fitting has a female camlock quick connect coupling on one side and a female NPT theads on the other side. The female camlock side of this coupler will only attach to a male camlock. The female threaded side will connect to a male NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threaded pipe. The body of this cam and groove fitting is made of aluminum. Aluminum cam lock fittings are lightweight and are corrosion and abrasion resistant. This fitting’s seal is made of NBR (Buna-N) rubber.
