It has antirust, waterproof, cut-resistance function. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Please note as follow especially outdoors: The product may build up mineral deposits or dirt and just like any gear, may slow down and require lubrication when used for a period especially outside. We recommend to oil the numbers up every other month or so. And any standard mechanics lubricant oil will do the trick.
