MasonryDefender Concrete Driveway Sealer is an architectural grade, silane/siloxane blended product that bonds with the minerals in concrete and masonry to provide long-lasting water repellency. It is ideally suited for concrete where maximum chloride ion (de-icing salts) protection is needed. MasonryDefender Concrete Driveway Sealer is a breathable, non-film forming, concrete sealer that will not alter surface color or appearance. MasonryDefender Concrete Driveway Sealer protects most horizontal, exterior, above-grade concrete surfaces. Product is suitable for use on residential driveways, patios, or sidewalks. Natural substrate color and surface textures are unaffected with little or no gloss created. Slight darkening may occur on dense surfaces. Testing is recommended before treating any surface to ensure desired results. This product is designed to protect concrete driveways, sidewalks, and patios once they have been properly cleaned with MasonryDefender All Purpose Masonry & Concrete Cleaner. Our 1 gallon of Concrete Driveway Sealer can cover a range from 90-150 sq. ft. per gallon depending on surface porosity. Before applying to your concrete, please make sure that the surface is completely clean and allowed to dry for at least 6 hours. We recommend cleaning with our MasonryDefender All Purpose Masonry & Concrete Cleaner to remove all dirt, grease, oils, efflorescence, wax, curing compounds, coatings or other foreign matter that might block or interfere with product penetration. Use the MasonryDefender Concrete Sealer to fully protect your driveway as well as brightening the appearance. Protects against cracking and pitting that is caused moisture that seeps into the concrete over time. After the solution is applied, water will now bead instead of seeping into your driveway causing more damage. Future maintenance will be much easier. Simply clear off any dirt, pollen, mildew, or leaves with a broom or garden hose. The surface of your concrete driveway, patio, or sidewalk will now be fully protected from mold, mildew and moisture. No longer waste your time power washing your driveway for hours. Stay fully protected for up to 5 years. Please make sure that the air and driveway temperature is a minimum of 40°F and a maximum of 100°F for three hours following application. Once your surface is free and clear of any dirt and debris, use a low pressure pump-up garden sprayer to apply a thin, even layer. The use of a sprayer will allow you to evenly coat your driveway. The surface should remain wet for 2-3 minutes before final absorption. Avoid puddling or ponding; brush or broom to spread material until the sealer thoroughly penetrates the surface. Surface will be dry in 2-6 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. Allow 24 hours before driving on surface.
