Every TenXVI Designs chalkboard is made from REAL pine wood, so you can be confident in the durability and natural beauty of your new chalkboard. We don't mess around with that cheap MDF (medium-density fiberboard) that bubbles every time a drop of water gets on it. That stuff isn't even good for firewood... Seriously, don't burn it. It's toxic. You can write on your TenXVI Designs chalkboards with regular chalk OR liquid chalk markers. Heck, if you want to get really fancy you can use both like we did in the above picture!
