Works with Alexa for voice control when used with a compatible hub. The ZWN-RSM2-PLUS utilizes Z-Wave Plus, which provides longer battery life, faster operation, better RF coverage and easier setup. It is backward compatible with Z-Wave classic devices and hubs. Z-Wave Plus unifies all connected home devices into an integrated wireless network and helps them communicate with one another. The Z-Wave module connects to your smart home network via a Z-Wave Plus or classic hub such as VeraEdge, VeraPlus, Vera3, SmartThings, Homeseer, Wink, Fibaro Home Center 2. A Z-Wave Plus enabled hub is required to achieve the Z-Wave Plus function. A neutral wire is required for installation. Make sure the hub you are using is compatible and has multi-channel support.
