Cabinet lights have an internal thousand milliamp lithium-ion battery inside there so there are no batteries to change you have a very simple charging port on that with a micro USB that's it and it charges in a couple of hours and you're all set it comes included with one USB one micro USB connectors so that all you need is a standard one amp half amp, comes with a little instruction sheet and these cool little metal pieces that will adhere to this use the magnetism and then they have a little double-sided tape that you can put on these to allow them to stick if you put on some it's raining metal magnetic base on this you don't need you the use the plate if you have a metal area if it's gonna go on something like wood or something like aluminum then you could use this included plate and they have some strong magnets on there to allow you to hold that in place and that's really nice that just slides right on and very easily slides off so that you can remove it to charge it. You can see there's a center off position and then the left on and then to the right is what's labeled as "G" and that's the motion-sensing position that will sense darkness. This will detect motion in the dark and it will illuminate anything from about 10 feet or closer it will detect using that little sensor right there it will sense something and then it will turn on. And then it will shut off in about 20 seconds after that use this under a cabinet wherever you want the light to come on and take your resets after about 20 seconds when it is darker in the room and then it should go off in 20 to 30 seconds. So when you first charge the unit this is red and when it's completely charged it goes to a nice bright green so this lets you know exactly that you've charged the unit up.
