Please follow below steps to cut. 1. 0.2 ~ 0.5 inch extra tolerance is in built in the dimension for margin of shrinking. 2. Mark the exact measurement with a pencil. 3. Cut to size with a sharp blade or scissors. We offer two thickness, 1.5mm and 2mm. 1.5mm is moderate for all furniture tops. 2.0mm looks better, it's the best thickness for kitchen and dining room table. Most of our sizes are cutted by machine which are largely decreased wrong cutting by manual process. The cover will be slightly bigger than advertised size for margin of shrinking, therefore slight size difference is not qualified as a quality issue. The clear cover is unbreathable when placed on glossy, glass, marble or other smooth tops, similar to a screen film when it's not stick well. Please use a tablecloth underneath or buy a frosted cover by instead, don't forget to place textured finish on top of table! Please measure your table top measurement (Wide x Length), then choose the right size or order a bigger one to cut to fit. We can also do custom size for your requirement.
