Great for animals who love to nest while they sleep. Removable 4 watt heater adds warmth to take the chill off on cold days. Electric cat bed is thermostatically controlled to automatically warm the surface of the bed to your pet's normal body temperature only when your pet is in the bed. Cat bed is machine washable for easy care. This heated cat bed has been tested & certified by MET Labs and exceeds USA/CA electrical safety standards; K&H doesn't just use safety listed parts, we safety certify the entire product. For indoor household use with 110/120 volt electrical current only. You'll notice that the K&H Heated Bed may not feel warm to the touch when your pet is not on the pad. THIS IS NORMAL! Our products are designed to only warm when your pet is lying in the bed. You can test the pad by placing a large pillow on top of the bed. After about 20 minutes, feel under the pillow.
