If you need a gel ice pack for injury, put it into the freezer for at least an hour for quick cooling. The cooled pack will keep the desired temperature for up to 20 minutes which is enough for the average pain-relieving session. If it’s not cold enough, simply refreeze. Even after deep freezing, your ice pack wrap will remain flexible. If you require a hot application, simply microwave your pack for 10 seconds. Check the temperature by touching it to the underside of your arm. If needed, heat it for another 10 seconds. Mighty-X gel packs stay hot for up to 20 minutes, which is ideal for a relaxing session. Once the proper temperature has been reached, apply the pack using the fleece side first. Each reusable ice pack for injuries has a unique, 2-sided design with a skin-safe fleece surface which allows you to apply it directly to the skin without any additional protection. Always use the soft fleece-lined side first for gentle temperature transmission. Then flip it to the nylon side once the fleece side has lost its temperature.
