The reticle selector dial is on the outside of the battery compartment. There is an 'R' and a 'G' position; R for red, G for green, the colors of the reticles. There is no actual on/off switch. In either the R or G position,the device is turned off. Selecting any of the numbers between 1 and 5 in either color turns it on.It is easy to operate. Battery: 1*CR2032（PACKAGE INCLUDED) Adjust the reticle accordingly by changing the elevation & windage adjustments until the reticle is zeroed on the point of impact of the bullet. Adjust the elevation first, then tighten the locking screw using the small allen wrench that is included. Then adjust the windage.
