Conni’s reusable absorbent bed pads, bed wetting sheets and mattress protectors are sustainable, cost-effective and easy to use. Conni bed protection is great for incontinence, toilet training, and excessive perspiration. 1. The Comfort layer (top) is made from super-soft, treated polyester that is non-pilling and encourages moisture away from the surface. Special quilting with a silky-soft finishing ensures the surface is comfortable and gentle to the skin. 2. The filter layer helps ensure the fluid does not return to the surface. 3. The absorbent layer has superior fluid retention technology. 4. The barrier layer (bottom) is a PU (Polyurethane) waterproof barrier which is soft, resilient and breathable. All four layers are fused together to create a lighter product that is easier to wash and dry. Conni products do not contain cotton as these fibers hold fluid at the surface. Wet cotton feels uncomfortable and clings to the skin (think of when a cotton t-shirt is wet). Once cotton is wet it is slow to dry which can result in skin irritation and eventually lead to skin sores (skin excoriation). By drawing the fluid into the Absorbent layer of the Conni product, you will feel drier and more comfortable. Conni absorbent and waterproof bed pads assist in the management of incontinence, bed wetting and excessive perspiration.
