The BEYOND FlexiBlue Comfort Cheek Retractor contains a pair of channeled edges that can be inserted around the lips of the patient, and a projected bridge connecting the edges at each side, by which the work area is defined. The user can either pull or push the retractor in order to expose the desired side of the mouth, making it a one-handed device. BEYOND FlexiBlue Comfort Cheek Retractor is designed to enlarge the vestibular fundus and increase the work area of the anterior 16-20 teeth. For general reference, our medium size cheek retractor is designed to work within a working field of 60-80mm for women, and 70-90mm for men. For most cases, this is considered a medium or “average” sizing. We do have a larger sizing available. The material and elasticity put patients in a comfortable, safe condition for treatment. The device can be cold solution sterilized.
