3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2290 is a solvent-based, low viscosity amber tinted thermosetting epoxy adhesive requiring heat cure. This epoxy is a low (21% solids) formulation with very low viscosity. 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 2290 can be applied in a variety of methods including: brushing, flow coating, dip coating, roll coating, knife coating and spraying. It is ideal for assembling metal laminations and various applications on metal cores, rotors and motors and wire windings. B-staging coated and dried parts are optional; allowing final cure up to 3 months later.
