Depending on how your back is feeling from day to day you can either leave the lumbar support in or take it out. It’s quick to remove and completely up to your mood. The elasticity of this belt helps give you that extra stretch needed to personally fit your waist size and it also prevents any excess heat from building up. These stays have been constructed to provide additional support without adding too much pressure to your back. They also prevent the brace from rolling up. This is heavy-duty velcro. Once you fasten the belt and secure it in place… it’s not going anywhere. You never have to worry even if there isn’t a ton of overlap.
