Katherine Waymire, Founder of Talisman Designs, started the company in 2002 making handmade wine accessories in her basement. Fast forward to today and Talisman Designs' is an award winning design company known for its innovative kitchen gadgets. The company's attention to detail shows in the invention, design and packaging of every item. Katherine explains "our mission is to design kitchen gadgets that make baking + cooking easy and fun. We want to delight the consumer, customer and our community every time." Katherine's proudest moment was when the company was able to 'give back' to the community. Talisman Designs' donates money and resources to a local Minneapolis non-profit called Perspectives. The multi-use cocktail bar mat is BPA-free and has a compact yet spacious work surface when open and folds for easy storage when closed; measures 18 by 12-inches when open and 9 by 12-inches when folded closed.
