Two Neutrik XLR microphone inputs are featured on the PMD-661 MKIII. They provide switching for stereo, mono, and dual mono input recording, as well as +48V phantom power for condenser mics. Unbalanced RCA line outputs provide users with easy-to-use audio outputs. This is ideal for situations where you want to connect the PMD-661 MKIII into a stereo or PA system for louder playback. PMD661MKIII includes an external, omni-directional boundary microphone, suited for capturing audio from different directions such as in meetings, court rooms, conferences and more! You can record right to a SD card with the PMD-661 MKIII. With sample rates of up to 24-bit/96khz, and 32 gig SDHC card compatibility, audio quality and length won't be anything to worry about. When you're not around any type of playback stereo or device and need to hear the audio you recorded, the PMD 661 MKIII features two built-in stereo speakers and a 1/4" headphone jack for on-the-go listening.
