This extra thick pad is the same as our rayon from bamboo mattress pad but with extra filling. Available in a variety of sizes including Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King, and California King. Bamboo is renowned for allowing excellent airflow. This makes bamboo ideal for cooling. In a thermal effusivity test, sensors work like your fingertips and rapidly determine the rate of heat flow from one material to the other. A fabric with a low measurement will be slower to transfer heat away from the body; thus keeping a sleeper warmer. Conversely, fabric with a high measurement will quickly draw heat away from the skin on initial contact. Four samples of popular fabrics were independently tested and averaged. SO WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? Again, while no fabric can replace a fan, we can help cover some of the gap.
